The Second Annual Garry Archer Golf Classic will once again be held at Campbells' Scottish Highland in Salem, NH on Friday, July 30. We have reserved 9-foursomes with the first tee time set for 11 AM. The cost is $85 and includes 18 holes of golf, door prizes, the same great food we had last year, and prizes to the winners of various contests. Carts are optional and are $15 per person for 18 holes. Carts are to be paid for at the course by individuals. This year there will be an option for Vegetarian meals in place of the hamburgers and chickens. Just let me know in advance. I have to have a final count and payment to them by July 2. This means that I will have to put up any money out of my pocket that I have not received in advance. This worked out okay last year as every one who said they were going to play, showed up. However, I am not working at the present (getting knee replaced on May 13) so any up front money will be helpful. Last year we booked for 40 but only had 33 show up. We paid up front for 7 people. This year I am trying for 36. If by the 2nd of July we only have "X" numbers of golfers notifying me they are going to play, I will have to cancel the remaining vacant golf slots. Once again, I would appreciate the money up front but I will take your word that you are going to show up and pay me on the date of the tourney. Anyway, let me know whose playing and what t33 time you want. Tee times are at 10 minute intervals. There is a driving range there if you want to get in some practice. Once again, no drinking on the course! If you wish to ignore this, at least don't leave your empties in the golf cart after your done...as some did last year. Looking forward to a great tournament. Don't forget, we can change the title to anything with the right amount of money donated to the club. We also are looking for any sponsors at $100/hole.
