Mystics Blank Worcester in Week 2

PINE BANKS - In Week 2 of the regular season, Mystic River took the field against Worcester in a match that could only be called "one-sided". The Mystics completely dominated the Worcester scrum and the Mystic back line was able to penetrate often. Eleven tries were scored in the shutout victory, including two from veteran hooker Jim Calmas and another from Dimitri Efthimiou, his third of the season. Mystic flyhalf Derrick Roma slotted seven conversions to add to the final 69-0 win. The Second XV were no less impressive as they took it to Worcester and allowed only one converted try for a 43-7 win.
