Mystics Defeat Army 21-20

WEST POINT, NY - Mystic River started off their Spring season with a 21-20 win against Army, who has stood their ground against Super League squads, tying NYAC last Fall and beating the Boston Irish Wolfhounds earlier this month. Joe Shurmaitis tallied two tries for the Mystics and USA 7s prospect Dimitri Efthimiou added a third with Pat Doherty slotting 3 for 3 from the tee. The Mystic River Second XV lost a close one to Syracuse 14-15.
