Mystics Defeat South Shore

WEYMOUTH, MA - After starting hot with a try in the first 60 seconds, the Mystics cooled off and actually found themselves trailing 20-24 at halftime to newly promoted South Shore. But it didn't take long to regain control in the second half as the Mystics put up 42 unanswered points behind strong play of Dimitri Efthimiou and Joe "Hollywood" Shurmaitis to take a commanding 62-24 lead at the final whistle. Next up, the Mystics open the season at Pine Banks against Amoskeag who are also 2-0 in league play.
