USA Club 7s Championships

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - In the opening day of the USA Rugby Club 7s Championship Series, Mystic River had Atlanta deadlocked  10-10 on two speedy tries by Chris Tofte and Dimitri Efthimiou. But costly mistakes were the story in the second half as the Mystics fell 10-29. Tournament favorites, the Chicago Lions, bested the Mystics 7-38 in game two with the only try coming from Karl Darragh. Mystic River bounced back in the final game of pool play, with a strong win over Belmont Shore 27-10 and advance to the plate round on Sunday.
