Mystic River is comprised of two teams competing on two different levels. The Division 1 Mystic River team competes in the American Rugby Premiership and the Mystic Barbarians compete in the New England Rugby Football Union’s Division II conference. The bulk of the season runs from late August through mid-November and the remaining few matches played in late March through early June the following year. The team also fields three teams in our sevens program over the summer, so there is almost always some rugby to be had!

During season, practices are held at Pine Banks Park every Tuesday and Thursday evening starting at 8pm. Fall practices generally start in the first half of August and run through early to mid-November. Training resumes at some point in late Feburary to early March, generally starting indoors before moving back outdoors as soon as possible.
