The Mystic D1 squad came out with guns blazing on Saturday at Pine Banks against last year’s D1 champions, NYAC. The Mystics lost a hard-fought match to NYAC in the national semi-finals, so were out for blood on their home turf.

Mystic Youth Rugby Take Center Stage
The Mystics were thrilled to have our very own Mystic Youth Rugby players take center stage during half time of the D1 match against NYAC this past weekend. It was great to have all Mystic players participating in a home rugby day, and we are hoping that we can make this a proud club tradition.
Mystic D2 Barbarians Stay Undefeated
The Mystic D2 side started Saturday off with a strong showing against Worcester, the only other unbeaten team in D2. The Mystics managed the game well and came away with a convincing 22-5 victory. The Mystics now have a more comfortable lead atop the D2 table as they go into a bye week. The Mystics will be back in action against Amoskeag on the road on October 31st before returning home on November 7th to close out the season against South Shore.
Mystics Victorious Over Boston
After seven long years without a win over Boston, the Mystics made an emphatic statement on Saturday with a 58-13 walloping of their long-time rivals. It was especially sweet on the heels of the Mystics’ 63-0 drubbing of the Wolfhounds the previous weekend, as the Mystics have clearly indicated that they are very much in the hunt for national recognition this year.
