This past Saturday, the Division 1 Mystic River team hosted Life University for a Homecoming Atlantic Cup match. The Mystics avenged their 7-88 loss from 2015 by defeating Life 43-17 at Pine Banks Park. The Division 2 Mystic Barbarians slipped up again, losing their second match of the season 19-36 at Portland in a muddy and rainy game. The Barbarians now stand at 5-2 on the season.

Playoffs: Life Rolls Past Mystics
COLUMBIA, SC – Mystic River’s hopes to reach the USA Rugby DI Final Four were dashed in the quarter-final round of the National Championship Series with a startling 58-3 blowout by Life University (4). A penalty slotted by Pat Doherty would be the only points Mystic would tally.
Life moves on to the next round, while the Mystics end their 2009-2010 campaign with a combined record of 10-3 in regular and postseason play.
