This past Saturday, Mystic River played in their third ARP match of the season against rival Boston Irish Wolfhounds. Despite the harsh elements and aggressive play by the Wolfhounds, Mystic River came out victorious winning the match 28-11 and improving to 2-1 on the season.

MALDEN, MA – Saturday was a glorious late Fall day, and the re-organized schedule of play allowed the Old Boys and B side to start the day off with two Mystic wins. Mystic Nation’s spirits were riding high coming into the A side match, but the A’s couldn’t quite do enough to win this year’s Briar Cup, losing by two points to the Wolfhounds in a match that could have been won by either side. MALDEN, MA – The Mystics spring season opener against the Wolfhounds has been cancelled due to the amount of snow on the pitch this week. We are currently looking to reschedule our Briar Cup matchup for later in the spring, but we haven’t identified a suitable date at this time. Hopefully the weather will improve over the next week and we can get the spring season underway next weekend against Middlesex.
